More On Saggin Pants

At this point it doesn't matter where we point the finger just as long as we do something about it. Now there may be a lot of people for and against it, but that is not even the issue. Common decency is the issue of the day. What makes a rapper, singer, youth in school or out think that it is okay to first disrespect themselves then turn around and disrespect other people they come in contact with.
I'm for having your own style and expressing yourself, but that can all be done descent and orderly. We should not have to go around looking at the color, shape or size of someones underwear be it boxer shorts or a women's thong; which is equally disgusting.
Where do we start to change and turn this thing around. How can something so nasty and trifling be turned into something good, descent and normal. What is normal about people walking around showing their underwear? Where is the self-respect and the respect for others who are force to view this abnormal dress malfunction?
This is how low it has gotten, I witnessed my grandson pull his son's pants down so his pamper and pants would be saggin. I looked at him in discuss because it wasn't cute to teach a baby to disrespect himself at such a tender age.
Who is to blame for all of the fashion confusion and deterioration of our youths views on what is normal and what is acceptable.
Parents who buy the clothes for their children must start to put their feet down and just say no, "You will not dress like this if I have to buy your clothes." That's a start. Tell them how disrepectful it is to walk around showing your underwear. That why they are called underwear to be worn under your cloth so they can't be seen.
We must stop letting outside influences dictate what goes on in your household and the rasing of your children.
If we can get the schools to enforce a tougher dress code that will also help. Now we have young men and women walking around with White T-Shirts down to their knees to hide their saggin pants.
Believe it or not that may be a quick-fix solution for a problem that has gotten so far out of control.

Picture this, one hand carrying their book bags and the other hand has to be free to hold up their pants because they still aren't wearing belts. it seems like we are faced with two evils especially junior high and high school children.
In the upper grades they should be taught more about the outside world, introduced to the job market and or college. And we are sending out a generation of high school children that can't dress for an interview. White T's and saggin pants might get them as far as picking up an application; but what about the first interview. Who is going to teach them then.
This is a serious situation and it must be address soon.
Now this is not all young people, thank God for that but the many who fall into this catagory of thinking saggin is the order of the day.

I had a question for the young ladies: How can you walk down the street with a young man who doesn't have both hands free to defend you if needed? Why would you want to walk down the street with a person who doesn't have a belt on and has to use his hand to hold up his pants? How attractive and romantic is that picture?
TV has mess our children's minds up so bad that bad looks good and evil looks even better. They don't realize that many rappers don't dress like that always that is the way they dress when they perform on stag. If you want to look at an example consider P. Diddy and his style of dress; he dresses for the successful person that he is. Jay-Z, Russell Simons and many, many more examples are out here for you to look up too and let's not for get Will Smith. If they need a fashion hero look to one of them.

The moral fabric of our society has a large tear that needs to be mended. From my observation with the school systems they need to enforce a dress code all the way around; if not uniforms then make these future young men and women be responsible:

1. pull up your pants because it is nasty looking at someone else underwear.
2. put on a belt to hold up your pants properly.
3. If you want to wear those types of clothes let the children know that it will no longer be tolerated in the school system across the board; from state to state.
It has got to start somewhere and soon. I'm looking at a whole generation of youth lost to this damnable so-called fashion called saggin.
It's not attractive
It's not cute
It's not nice
It's immoral to walk around disrespecting your self and others, forcing them to look at your underwear.

There is such a thing as indecent exposure and the saggin pants fits this law.
Decency and orderly is the flavor of the Day!
"People Pull Up Your Pants" and start respecting yourself and others that are force to look at your underwear and thong strings.

This is my opinion and I feel strongly about this issue of the Saggin pants. Turn the word around and it spells Niggas which means ignorant, stupid, idiot. The root word is still the "N" word and what is attractive about being called a name that reaps of slavery and injustices that have been done to Asiatics (Blacks/Negros/Colored Folk, Afro-African Americans)

I'm looking for some needed dialog on this subject because I know there are parents out there that feel the way I do. My 31 year old son still has to be told when in my presence, "Pull Up Your Pants and I will be glad when you truly step into manhood and start dressing like one!!!!!!!
